Well, we survived a historic catastrophic flooding event in Houston,
Memorial Day, 2015. The city saw about 9 to 11 inches of rain in less than
12 hours. Bayous overflowed, all freeways closed, some of the numbers; 4000+
homes or businesses damaged or destroyed, about 1000 cars flooded or
underwater, the storm dropped a estimated one hundred sixty two BILLION
GALLONS of water on Harris County overnight! So we are ok, many others are
not though. Just can't seem to get break on the rain, and last night was (to
me) worse than Tropical Storm Allison in 2001.
but this is a NEW file with photos taken of this event Memorial Day 2015.
Some AMCs in there. Flooded of course, but not underwater like some of the
photos of other folks cars:

we did not get water in house.
