base in the american was a 199, 232 opt.  the car bell only fits the
car t96 and car t14.  the jeep t14 has a completely different nose -
input shaft, retainer, bolt pattern.  a bell from a big jeep might
work; they started using 232s in '65.

there's supposed to be an optional hd trans and bell for the '64-'71
sixes - they're in all my tsms - but i've never heard of actual parts.
that tranny has the same nose as the jeep one though.
