HI- I can relate to what has been said about race car driving; I too have  
raced in lots of SCCA races in the 70s/90s and nothing beats the feeling 
that it  gives you as a driver whether you win or lose or come close. I still 
own 6S674  66 HERTZ Shelby but have not raced it since because of its value. 
I am working  on an AMC SX/4 that I hope to play around with when I get it 
sorted out.  Right now I have 3 Eagles and just purchased a 1985 reburnished  
Dodge  Charger Shelby out of New York with a lot of Direct Connection 
parts. It has not  been delivered yet because of bad weather and transporter 
problems. When racing  gets in your blood;it never leaves nor does the love for 
cars.

I drove SCCA  Formula Ford for about 8 years. Not anywhere near as much 
power. But  always so much fun it was hard to describe.
A saying comes to  mind.
