AMC rare Eagle Sundancer convertible for sale, not mine: http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/cto/4205264024.html"this is a project I'm not getting around to so decided to offer it up for sale. there were only 200 of the Sundancers built, and less than 20 still known in existence. this car came out of Colorado, has minimal rust in the floors and all the rest is very solid. it shows 42k miles, I believe that to be correct. engine still has most of it's blue paint on it. even has A/C! in 1981, the Sundancer option was offered at $3,750. Griffith out of Florida did the conversions for AMC, they also did the Toyota Sunchaser conversions. they started with an Eagle coupe, AWD, then the top was cut off, a reinforced targa band installed, and it has a fibreglass removable targa panel with it's own stow bag in the trunk and then the part behind the band goes down like a normal convertible top. frames were also reinforced as part of the conversion. car has not been run in years, I got it off of an estate and did not get a title with it so can only sell it with a bill of sale. cheap money for an extremely rare car- go 4 wheeling in style! :-) can reach me 540-631-5852 if you have any questions. there is also a new carpet set that comes with the car.
