Any particular reason you're looking for a 343?  I would think a gen-3 
engine like a 360 would be much easier to find.  And easier to find parts 
for too.

As far as the crossmember, you have two choices.  You could use a V8 
crossmember, but they're getting a little hard to find.  Or there's also an 
adapter kit made by Bulltear.  It allows you to mount a V8 on the I6 
crossmember.  I've never used one personally, but they've gotten good 
reviews.
