Yes, you are correct. I remember the guy and his posts, just not his name. 
He was in rough health but was buying selling and building AMC models to the 
end.

I still think you may be better off building the mold out of fiberglass. It 
will take a lot more money invested in silicone and just as intricate of a 
mold frame to do it in silicone. Especially if the part has any size to it 
at all.
