I need some help solving a mystery. I have a ‘63 Rambler Classic that is all original. I pulled the instrument cluster this morning to fix the heater cable controller. When I was done I put everything back and found a loose instrument light bulb I didn’t recognize. The bulb was blown so I started searching my manuals and online for a replacement. The bulb is stamped G-E 256. It’s a tough bulb to find because apparently it has a built in flasher. I found a place online that sells them and ordered a new bulb. The bulb number and wiring leads me to believe it is a parking brake warning light (which my owners manual says was an option). The mystery is this: where does the bulb go? I took another look at the instrument cluster and I don’t see any obvious place for it. Anybody know where it goes?
