" Oil filter Questions??
"
" OK, at one time 10 years ago, Consumer reports tested Fram to be one of the best oil filters.
" I have always liked the PH11, instead of the PH25, since it was bigger.
"
" Is there something I don't know??
"
" I would love to hear what the list thinks about good, better, best, as far as oil filters.
fram has not had a good rep; poor construction, skimpy filter
material... wix and ac are 2 of the best.
" I got my 80 Concord out of storage this week.
" 258, 4 speed, dealer A/C
"
" I believe it is an SR4 trans??
should be.
" Hopefully can get the correct clutch, since is slips..
"
" Any ideas? I THINK it is different then the clutch in my 75 Hornet with the T150 trans..
it is. the pp is probably the same but the disc is 1 1/8" where the
t150 is 1 1/16", and pilot bushings are also different. dunno the
release bearing offhand. a lot of amc trannies are 1 1/8" x 10 spline
but the t150 is the only 1 1/16". the t96 and t14 are 15/16" x 10.
btw, if you want a 4sp for your hornet, a ford toploader is a straight
swap for the t150 - same clutch, yoke, length...
