Yeah, I know there are a lot of people who like the serp belt, there are followers of everything. The serp belt was brought out to aide in manufacturing, quick and painless to install. Time is money, ya'know. You can pop on a serp belt and adjust it in nothing flat at the factory, and with thousands of cars coming down the assy line, that is a lot of time saved.
I don't like the idea of one belt controling everything. I carry extra belts in my trunk along with all types of breakdown stuff, and yank off every serp belt that comes my way....Russ
