What ratio is it now? What size tires? (Are you planning a lift with bigger tires later?) You may want to check out the AMC Eagle forum. Last 5 speed Eagle I helped part out was 2.72 ratio (Same as my current wagon that's getting switched to 3.08 so I'll have both 2.72s for sale along with the Factory Alloys and 205/75/15 tires since I lifted for the 235/75/15s I just put on) 3.31 would be better (stock ratio on FSJs with 5 speed) From: amcngmc@xxxxxxxxx To: amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [AMC-list] Eagle axle gearing ? I know what the AM-15/D35 rear looks like I also know what the AM20 also look like see thousands of both ;o) Rear axle isn't my main concern, re-gearing the front axle is my concern. Axle was swapped in by PO along with an AMC-V8 engine. Its a 258/5spd car and its geared a bit to luggy for the V8s power curve. So I would like to get some 3.73s put in put axles to more enjoyable. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
