They have started tearing it down already. Although you can only see indications that is is happening from outside, it is sad to know it happening. For most of us here who have grown up with AMC, it probably wont seem real until the buildings come down. It stretches approximately 8 city blocks long by 6 blocks wide on 107 acres right in the center of town. There was also a lake front plant that Chrysler tore down shortly after purchasing AMC.
