The car chase was filmed here in Houston, that is near OST & Loop 610. A few things worth mentioning here is that sharp eyes will notice ESSO gas at 32 cents a gallon. For those of you who know Houston somewhat, that area is Med Center, or most of it is now, and highly developed, a downtown unto itself. The Camaro ends up in bayou near Buffalo Bayou it appears just west of downtown, where the International Festival usually held now. The Pat Benatar looking chick driving the Mopar does great job driving. Houston actually DID have these boat type Fury III police cars in 1970s among other cars they used...including Gremlins for police parking detail downtown. Thanks to whoever posted this cool link, i wonder how in the hell did they get so few cars on Houston streets to film this chase, must have been a sunday. Unfortuately whoever posted this sequence removed the orig soundtrack and put in their own music and talked nonsence in the backround.. The Gremlin in the movie certainly didn't sound like a 6! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XO7fLm0iXjM __,_._,___ -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
