Great job Marc! It's amazing how we run across odd things when looking
for something else. I was researching something about Borg-Warner (can't
recall what now!) and ran across documentation about the BW/Ford
connection, and how BW actually developed the first Ford automatics (the
"xxx-O-Matics" -- FX and MX models -- culminating in the FMX). All are
similar to the M-8, the M-11 and 12 are "next generation" models even
though the FMX was introduced later.

Well, that didn't take much!! AMC didn't own it entirely AT FIRST, but
did eventually. I was remembering things I read that happened in the 60s.

You're welcome. I established that entire section several years ago, when I happened to come across a couple of newspaper articles about Holmes Foundry while searching for something else about AMC. Intirgued, I kept researching it until I had what is now in the Wikipedia article.
