Troy, I put drop springs on my 68 american about 15 years ago. At that time, I called Eaton Detroit for my drop springs. I told them what car I had, and what spring rate I wanted, and they made me a set for $150. This lowered my front by about 1.25" They should be able to create a set of springs for you if you tell them what reduction you want. You or they will have to come up with the front sprung weight for the spring rate to be accurate. I have a trunnion with the spring on top, so I did not have to worry about alignment etc. I just had to worry about ride quality, etc from a different spring (which turned out to be great). Good luck, Eddie Any of you guys lowered your amc down? I kept my Javelin the stock height and put 16 inch rims on.?I bought a four?door 73 Matador?it sets a?little high with the? for my taste. I have heard you can order shorter coil springs for it without chanching much else on the suspension. ?Any experiences, advice on this?
