You need an adapter bracket, if that's what you're asking. The adapters I've seen have a bit of adjustment to make sure the belt is aligned right. Almost any AC shop should have them or will be able to get them. Here's a good inexpensive one: http://www.nostalgicairparts.com/air-conditioning/york-compressor-adapter-plate-universal-mount-177.php Note the slotted holes for bolting the bracket to the York mount. I know it says Ford, but all the York compressors mount the same. I've got to admit that I like this one a bit better -- eliminates a tensioner! It has slotted mount holes also. http://classicfordradiator.com/yorktosandenflatmount-1.aspx Here are better photos, but higher prices: http://www.oldairproducts.com/catalog/brackets/compressor-adapter-brackets-c-1_50000000_60000000_69000017.html ------------- Date: Mon, 16 Apr 2012 13:32:23 -0500 From: "Armand Eshleman"<aje1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> I seem to have gotten confused. Is the offset bracket mount needed to mount a Sanden 508 on a York bracket on our AMC V8 engines?? Any body got any experience with that one?? -- Frank Swygert Editor - American Motors Cars Magazine www.amc-mag.com _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
