Sent: Saturday, February 25, 2012 10:02 AM Subject: [AMC-list] Powdercoated AMC V8 valve covers Hey guys,Thursday night, I powdercoated a set of stock valve covers in Black Wrinkle. I first sandblasted them, then pre-baked to remove any oil from within the metal, then powdercoated them. They went from grimy old paint, to looking like new, these turned out better than I hoped. They had some pitting in them from age, which the Wrinkle finish masks quite well. So, if you like the stock valve cover look and yours are old, the wrinkle powdercoating is the way to go.
