stainless steel is VERY easy to restore. its a very soft metal. it can be bent very easily and all. if its just scratches ect that need to be taken out, you can do it yourself. get some 00 steel wool. little water, and it buffs out to a mirror finish. it takes a little bit of time and elbow grease. i have done ALOT of stainless steel. its quite easy. grab a few beers, sit infront of the wood stove, and start rubbing away. it actually goes pretty stinkin fast.

Chrysler no longer owns the AMC brand, yet they have been trying to force the little guys to pony up money for something they had nothing to do with and in fact try to stop from happening. That is making reproduction parts with the AMC logo

This guy owns legal rights now and I say more power to him!

I posted it up on my Facebook. Maybe we can get them to back down if enough people make this thing go viral like the BOA $5 fee did.

Listers,

I hope Chrysler really isn't trying to kill off parts re-poppers for our
cars. I need some one to explain to me what Chrysler thinks it's gaining by
pursuing that.
If Chrysler doesn't want to supply parts, then they should step aside and
allow others to do so, to do otherwise will only diminish Chrysler's share
of the auto market.
I know I won't buy anything with the pentagram on it if I KNOW that Chrysler
is actively pursuing shutting down AMC parts re-poppers.

Is my thinking correct??
People, let me know please,

Armand

Most likely, since Chrysler let the trademark registration lapse, if they could regain CONTROL of the AMC trademark, then they would control the reproduction of,?and licensing fees for AMC logo parts to be reproduced outside of Mopar.? It is ALWAYS about $$$.? If Mopar would be the only licensed group to repop AMC emblems, then we'd be paying Mopar prices to obtain them for out vehicles.

On 12/31/2011 11:31 AM, Greg Taylor spouted this sage advice:
