If you switch to a " 75-80 intake you can use the later setup. i'll agree, if you can find an amc with the entire setup, for another reason: in '75 iirc, saginaw dropped the old manual steering box pattern and started making all their manual boxes with the p/s pattern. i presume amc modified their frame horns accordingly, so a later car wouldn't have the adapter i think you'd need. if you have to piece the setup together, the chevy vega p/s box has the manual-box pattern and it's popular with hotrodders for this reason, so it's easy to find them. iirc it takes the manual-box pitman arm too.
