Low VIN number too.  That might have been a demostrator or at least a showroom 
car.  If it were closer to CA I'd trade a Donohue project for it.

1967 American Motors AMC Rambler Rogue
Serial Number: A7KM97D100240

I bought this car in '82 as you see it is the same as when I bought it.
I drove it for a couple of years, parked it in '85 with plans to restore.
This car drove and ran good till the day I parked it.
The motor has never been apart.
When I bought the car, it had already been wrecked in the front.
The two front fenders, grill and bumper are from another car.
The hood is original-the motor is not locked up.
This is origional 2 door- no post.
The floorboards in the front do have rust but are very fixable.
The trunk is solid with rust in one corner.
Rust is also on the quarter panels.
This is a factory 4-speed/4-barrel V-8
A RARE CAR!!
This car is great for restoration.
