I appreciate the replies and here is the car on www.youtube.com so anyone can hear the 
symptoms, has a miss, and 'klock' sound thru carb. I just drove it slowly to go put new 
high tech gas in it, and also checked all the screws on the carb also, and checked the vac 
lines:

One of the symptoms of a lean mixture is backfiring through the carb. Check to
see that the carb hold down nuts are secure and check for elsewhere for an
intake vacuum leak, vacuum hoses, etc.

Eddlie - Don't overlook bad gas,  or gas with water in it,  if she got fuel somewhere.  It 
will create the same condition.  If everything checks out otherwise, try a can of de-icer 
in the fuel to dry up the water -
