Someone is supposed to have or is making the attempt. I think they mentioned using a Wagon body because it would accept the rear interior style better. I'd think American hardtop windshield and doors, wagon body, then the blend of who knows what to get the rear looking correct. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joe Fulton" <piper_pa20@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: "Rambler AMC, Nash, Jeep and family" <amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, August 24, 2011 4:18:02 PM Subject: Re: [AMC-list] Tarpon Dan, I think someone on the AMC forum has tried to build a Tarpon similar to the way you suggested. You might want to post there. Knowing that, has anybody ever attempted to build their own Tarpon using the roof of a 1965 Marlin mated to a 1965 American body? I'm sure it's not as simple as it sounds, but it'd be interesting to see a "production" Tarpon in the flesh. dan _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
