No they dont run 0 deck height. and the deck height on a 343 and a 1970 and 71 
360  is the same. Essentially both blocks are the same. then the deck height 
grew on the 360 in 72 up blocks, I know you already know this just posting for 
other readers.

different deck height though, which could complicate matters.

i've been wondering how the pin and deck heights would work out for a
343 crank and 4.0 i6 rods in a 360 block.  am i right in thinking 360s
don't run zero deck height normally?
