The reason you heat and tap on the stuck bolt (or any other metal) is the expansion of the heated metal makes the stuck part break loose. The tapping also breaks loose as he said. Don't hesitate to get the bolt good and hot, it will take it.And give it a good whack.
Try pen fluid first, then a good rap on the bolt. If that doesn't work, as it sounds like so in your case, fire up the torch.......Russ
