Rocky, Its a 727 trans in the GW, same as in the AMC cars, just for a 4WD transfercase. You can pick up a trans from one of the GW guys over at www.ifsja.org ... conversion to a TH400 does not gain you anything. Conversion to a stick (Like I'm doing) is a lot of work, unless you're planning to make a trail rig out of it. IF you're just gonna drive it, I recommend sticking with the torqueflight 727.
