I used a 4x4 slipyoke in my 2wd AW4 and 2wd AX-15 to keep them from leaking oil while transporting them recently. I didn't count the splines. Just tried several of the driveshafts in my spare pile till one fit.

Does anyone know if the 27 spline slip yokes used in the 2wd version of 
the AW4 are the same as the 27 spline 4wd yokes?
 
Also, does anyone know for sure whether the 27 spline Ford C4 yoke fits 
the AW4?
