ahhh, subdivision rules, BITE ME.... One of the reasons I love living outside city limits in WV. There's a one car non-op rule that they don't enforce and nothing else. We have to file building permits, but only so they know to wander by and raise our taxes or force flood plane victims to buy insurance or move. Bruce, I can send you my address if you have to much home brew, I just finished up my 64 rear bumpers retrofit and the shop is such a mess I did not even take pics. It is sweet. The rear bumpers from 64's have no backup holes, so I rebuilt the front brackets and have two rear bumpers on the 69 now. If you look at those rear bumpers you see they have bolt holes in the ends. So I put in the led fitted 7/16" bumper bolts, Amber up front and red in the back and wow they look sweet! $30 a pair but sweet outweighs the ole RM on this one! One bumper is a rechrome and the other a NOS. I put led 3.5 X 4.5" LED amber truck turn and park lights in some home made ABS housings behind the grlle, I'm not as wild about their look, but it is sufficient. So, I'm pretty much done with the project list for this summer!!! Time to drive it! Have to help my oldest put a header on his 2002 Sentra SER to replace the front manifold and cat. They tend to fail and the egr ingests the debri and kills the engine, so we want that front cat GONE. Nissan recalled them and supposedly "fixed" ones with problems, but owners say they still have them fail, Nissan shrugs and says, "oh well" so we are pulling it. There's still a secondary cat so its not like we are stripping the emissions away. He has nailed a summer internship in his field and its a 45 minute commute from grams house so we need this thing solid and dependable. Four brand new tires at $560, new rotors, blocked and cleaned up new pads, oil change. Got a good deal on it from Tewells estate and it only has 41K on it still. Last weekend was Jeep weekend, did both of them, rear brakes and oil change on the 97 and oil change on the 04. At some point I hope to catch my breath!
