i want to say thanks for everyone advice on towing. i will really have to look into really what i get then for a new set of wheels.
what i am towing is going to be a gutted chevy monty carlo that was setup for circle track. i am working on setting it up for drifting and autocross.  the car is pretty striped since its welded doors and everything. i am looking to tow this car, a couple of extra setstires and rimes and some basic tools in the cars along with some little things in the tow car. the tires would e tossed in the stock car to carry and i was looking to use a car dolly since storing and using it would be much simpler then a full sized car trialer. i have done some towing before but its been a few years though. the last few cars i used for towing was a 89 toy pickup with a 3.0 v6 and a 5 speed with 4.10 gears...carried a lincon town car on a full sized trialer once and it was huffing....then towed a delta 88 on a dolly. the next ride i had for towing was a 88 delta 88 and towed on a dolly a ealge talen once and a small 15 foot boat meybe up to mad city from foxlake. 
i am looking to get into a amc of sometype and the concord and eagle for having something that i can take to car shows. so i am not really wantiing to get a suv or jeep pickup. i had an eagle once and it was fun for the little while i owned it. i also had a 91 pickup also till i sold to my coisin who wreaked it.
i have a 66 amc american that needs a good home if anyone wants a car that is decent but need s some little things done. runs and drives and is not in bad shape.
by the way eddie, that link you posted about that wagon on grassroots motors sports i remeber that car tread being talked about...that was amsuing to see again.
