If you already have the E2SE electronic Varijet carb with the ECM, it shouldn't be difficult at all. The ECM externally looks just like the TBI ECM and the wiring harness appears to be very similar. You will already have the unheated oxygen sensor too. You will need the manifold and throttle body and a suitable low pressure fuel pump and of course the ECM. You might want to try to re-use the wiring harness if you can read the wiring diagram and confirm the circuity. At any rate a replacement (TBI) wiring harness will fit easily where you are removing the present one. If you don't have the electronic carburetor, ignore all of the above because I am not familiar with that setup. I owned an 80 Spirit with the Duke and rebuilt that engine and became very familiar with the ECM and wiring before I got it running right. My problem in getting it running correctly turned out to be a bad engine ground. The wiring diagram was a hybrid of the GM diagram for the ECM and the AMC diagram. It was hard for me to read. Maybe a smarter person could have made it happen quicker, but I sure had problems.
