Joe; when I got my 65 on the road years ago, the only thing I had to do was a new exhaust. I had them weld up a single 2" system from the header pipe to the tip. It has been trouble free since then, about 12 years ago. The original exhaust was leaking and had a rusted muffler. I think this car was one of those made on a Wednesday, because everything works like it is supposed to work and I have never had any trouble with it, plus the original owner was a Portland Rambler mechanic. So I just keep it in as good shape as when I found it. It had just been one of those cars that was driven and never prettied up, so everything that I have done to it is to improve on perfection. I get a lot of compliments on my "Nova" but everyone wants to know what I did to my Nova, or Valient. I had one girl call it a Mustang.
