as far as clutch chatter... every stinkin time i have ever resurfaced a flywheel, the clutch chatters. i have stopped resurfacing the flywheel now. just dont do it. ill take a grinder with a wire wheel to it, and just kinda knock any glazed stuff off it may have on. we run dodge 3500 rams with the cummins in them at the shop i work at. deliver tractors all over the country with them. they both have had 2 clutches each. first time, both got resurfaced flywheels. both chattered. about the time the clutches wore out again, the chatter finally quit. so the 2nd clutch for both didnt get a resurface, just new pressure plate, disk, and bearings. they are just peachy this time. i dont understand what it is really. dave stohler www.picasaweb.google.com/das24rules _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
