My son pulled out the rear seat to work on the car a bit. The original owner worked at Rich's in Atlanta, and used the car to commute from Smyrna to Atlanta. We found a copy of an architect's drawing of Rich's parking lot! Then on the other side my son found an Esso Tiger Bucks thing that's for a drawing of a '66 Mustang. Both pieces are cool. Old, faded, got a lot of holes in 'em - but cool! Been a long time since I saw an Esso anything! The seats had been reupholstered in a black and white vinyl as an anniversary present to the owner. Since the papers under the seat are from '66, I'm guessing the seats must have been done when the car was only a year old! I'm guessing the snazzy replacement carpet must have been done then, too. (too bad the carpet needs to be replaced - it would have been cool to save it - but it's too far gone). _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
