If you have a new gasket (door gasket specifically) with the new fastners, you
shouldn't need to use much if any glue. I just did that same job on the front
doors of my Rambler (just like yours) and I don't recall using any weatherstrip
adhesive. I think my gasket came from Metro Molded parts.

When you replace the door and trunk gaskets, do you just use the press
fit, or do you glue them as well? There are a few spots on the door
where the seals need a touch of glue - just wondering if I should
remove and glue the whole thing.
