Somewhat AMC related. Just got back from Clyde Tewells ex AMC Dealership/Estate. Bought my oldest son a really nice 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R with only 39K on the clock. Checked out the metropolitan and the Willys sitting the the showroom. The scoop on Clydes classic cars is that they will all go to his daughter and her husband and they will not be sold. Which is good for her and likely them. I surely would have been in the front row bidding if they auctioned off the 63 American 440H with 6K on the clock, but family deserves to keep family heirlooms as the American was her grandmothers new. Not AMC related, but the SE-R sure is one sweet running little car with the 2.5L and variable intake ports and valve timing. My son is deeply in love with it. I finally get to stop listening to him grumble about the beat to snot 98 Altima!
