Yeah, I'd tend do agree with Eddie. Think of it this way. We have all seen the nightmarish things people will do to a car, buying every piece of plastic chrome crap. Stick on Hoodscoops. All that crap. It could very well be an experiment that has failed. Greg Taylor bought the Lowrider Grabd Cherokee he has dubbed Lowredo. Yeah it is not evryones cup of tea and I see he caught some flack for it. So what? Engine compartments often come last on non stripped it to the bones projects. For the home shop guy, it really stands to reason, especially is you're driving it. You do the compartment first and then spray the car with out strong ventilation you get overspray up under your maskind, then have to clean the mess up. Do the engine compartment last and hell you can shoot it outside with the major part of the body up wind if need be! I did my engine compartment last and while it is slightly less perfect then it shows on net pics it is clean and I think it looks darn good. I have it posted on photobucket under wrambler_242 user name. try the search with a capitol W if the small one fails. I'd link it but I'm not logged into PB and my connection has been flaky this am. Anyway, do the engine compt last plan, and run out of steam, there you go, that's what you get. Show it with the hood closed. Experiments can often be undone too...
