[AMC-list] stall converter

hi all I'm looking to buy a stall converter around 2000 for my 290 HP .i called summit and the only one they have is $ 900. and some change a few years back i could buy one from P.A.W for about  $125.   but i think there out of bussines,  is there any one that around that more in my price range  chad
