Yeah I figured that I'd ruffle a few feathers. Its funny that the media reports on crashes that killed unbuckled passengers, but seldom report on passengers who were wearing belts and were killed.
I have been in three serious accidents, all unbelted- 59 Rebel wgn, 68 4-4-2, 64 Fairlane Thunderbolt clone. I'm still alive.
Last year we buried a neighbor who wrecked a 2 year old car, whose car had all the safety whiz-bangs and they were all belted to the max. 
Car crashes are like elbows, everyone has one. And 52% of all statistics are manipulated anyways. Bottom line, I have traveled many miles, I drive for a living, and never worn a belt. Except when riding in others cars or a cop is behind me I never will because of the oppressive nazi-ish way these laws were forced in and are used. Enough said on the subject, here's my AMC content;
I got a call on a set of new Chryco cop-car wheels. These are 17x7. The caller knows I run the 15 inch wheels on all my AMCs, and he was wondering if  I wanted the 17s. Has anyone ever run those on AMCs and how do they fit....Russ
