I have about 10 or more that I have been saving for years but it's time to clean up.I can scrap them, the brass tanks are worth money.I didn't want to scrap them if we could keep them in the hobby as original but if no one is rebuilding them I guess scrap value is good. ----- Original Message ----- From: amc-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To: amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, January 8, 2011 3:00:15 PM Subject: AMC-list Digest, Vol 22, Issue 8 Send AMC-list mailing list submissions to amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to amc-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx You can reach the person managing the list at amc-list-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of AMC-list digest..." How long will we be able to get the support bearing/rubber unit? If it is going to enter the modified world well, mine is going away. There just too many parts made of unobtanium. Including the ring and pinion. I have 3:15 twin grip that I will never use doubt if it will bring much money, it is going...somewhere! Message-ID: Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8 My ?65 Marlin currently has a 327 with the BW cast iron auto (Flash-o-Matic?) and torque tube. I?m wanting to replace everything from the flexplate back with an adapted GM OD auto and Explorer diff. I?m trying to put some numbers together and I wonder if there is any market for these stock pieces and what would they be worth? I will no longer have use for them and the sale of them could help keep the project affordable. They?re all in good running condition still in car. The tanks and brackets are the only pieces needed as you proly know. Its a shame but unless they are correct for one of the "desirable" cars they likely have no value. The AMC rads take an odd sized core and are expensive to re core. Restorers will foot that bill for their babies. But non stock car guys will just move to an eagle rad or aluminum or other rad that is "close enough"... ------Original Message------ From: kncway@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sender: amc-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To: amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx ReplyTo: AMC, Rambler, Nash, Jeep and family Subject: [AMC-list] Radiator Sent: Jan 7, 2011 11:32 PM Is anyone buying OEM radiators to refurbish.I have several to get rid of. _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com Sent from my BlackBerry? wireless device from U.S. Cellular ------------------------------ _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com End of AMC-list Digest, Vol 22, Issue 8 *************************************** _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
