If you plan on keeping the E-stick you will likely having issues getting parts, they use a unique oil pump and clutch setup. The higher the engine oil pressure the tighter the grip on the clutch disc.
That's what allows them to idle in gear at stops, oil pressure is to low to engage clutch. Bring up the rpm the clutch engages and off you go.
I drove one back in the 80's very cool system when it works, bugger of a system when it don't.
I'd base the decision to buy on the car as a whole, it can be converted to a standard clutch setup if needed.

OK...guys...went to look at a 62 Rambler American 2dr with a E-stick
trans......Good/Bad problems?????
has been sitting for most of the last 5 years.....
good...body is straight..had one repaint clear coat peeling off...
bad..front seat needs fixed...head liner....
engine needs rings????.....
asking $1100 would take $900.....
