Eddie,

Frankly unless there is some good documentation indicating its originality, I'd have to believe this is a clone.  The missing door tag is the sour milk smell.  If it is a clone, it's worth the sum of its parts plus some for labor.  That would add up to more like $20k -- and even then, all of the issues raised would have to be right.

If it is original, I'd want some sort of proof -- like a photo trail from the family(ies) that owned it before, or some original documents, etc.

You should offer the seller some of your stock for upgrading it as needed.
