Joe; I've been following your Americans progress and it brought back memories of getting my own 65 dialed in. Mine is all together and looking good, though it was a rough ho to row in the beginning.
I wired up two simple on/off switches to each door switch, that way in the day time when the doors are open I don't have to light up the car when its not needed. I can keep the doors open all day and no worries.
When I did the headliner I covered the center hole (too late for you I think) and put two domes from a late sixties Monoco on the sail panel. They look at home there, except to the purist, and the lens are screwed on to the base, not snapped. Better lighting too.
Finally, how well does the mustang tank fit? What year and what mods did you do. Mine is fine but I'm thinking of my 64 Classic.....Russ
