There's a 62 Classic wagon on Craigslist in the Mohave area of CA that has a Buick V6 and a fabricated 4-link rear to get rid of the torque tube. It looks good too. It's not my style but it looks good. I had one of those odd-fire Buick engines in a 64 Olds F-85 years ago and that engine vibrated more than any engine I had ever driven behind until I later owned a Spirit with an Iron Duke. One the Pixar pic, I think the Gremlin and Pacer will be enjoyable to watch. I'm looking forward to bonding with my grandson who loved the first Cars movie. I think he'll like going for a ride in grandad's Pacer and his Gremlin now. I'm not sure I like the idea of us being featured in the movies because we are an "odd" line of cars, but I guess I will take whats offered. Sigh, toss us a boen. I went to s swap meet at Albany (oregon) last weekend. I had my booth there. Everyone kept telling me about a 64 American with a V6 in it. I had to look. It had a Buick V6 with a 4spd and it fit so nice in there it looked like factory standard. Everything lined up good. I will still stay with my I6 but fror those who want to do the unmentionable, that swap looked like such a clean and easy job. I don't know anything about these Buick V6's, what are they all about. I like the idea of being different wqith the Buick.....Russ _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
