Nice set up. Either the accelerator pump is clogged, you have a small vacuum leak, or your timing needs advancing. I cut and modified the firewall to fit the big bad six. The engine has Buick 3.8 std, bore hypereutectic pistons, 4.0L rods, bored .050, small Crower cam, Crower springs, caps, Comp Cams timing set, ported head shaved .060, later intake and exhaust, 2100 carb with 1.14 venturis, HEI distributor, and was balanced. I started it on a stand, and it fired up on the second attempt. It ran incredibly smooth, but when I twisted the throttle quickly it would stall. Any ideas? _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
