Sorry Greg, but in spite of what some websites claim, there is no one with a single pic of a BA 10/5 behind a 2.5L, but a few of the early 84/85 XJs came with SR4/5 or T4/5 on the 2.5 or 2.8 (same as the Eagle did). Novak sells good stuff, but they have some misinformation on their site. They seem to think the AW4 (used in '87 up XJ, MJ) isn't strong enough for a Jeep 6, let alone a V8 (like the Lexus SUVs use with almost the same trans) Jim Blair, Lynnwood, WA '87 Comanche, '83 Jeep J10, '84 Jeep J10 From: Greg Taylor <amundaza@xxxxxxxxx> To: "AMC, Rambler, Nash, Jeep and family" <amc-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [AMC-list] 89 Commanche Message-ID: <423630.60270.qm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Ken, It would be?either a Peugeot BA10/5 (available until mid-89)?or a Aisin?Warner AX5 (behind all 4-cyl Jeeps after that).?
