My son's was a later model 232 (could have been a re-power) in a '77 DJ-5 with the M12 (?) trans we put in my room mate's '67 Rebel with 290. (it had the weak trans that only drove 2 blocks before locking up and going to neutral. If I shut it off and waited 30 seconds it drove home again. Dropped the pan and found tiny metal chunks inside)
Sadly, she sold her Rebel because a '55 Ford she has been lusting after for the past 5 years suddenly came up for sale. (owner retired and recently had a stroke so he couldn't play with it anymore)
