Burned out dash lights are something i am familiar with and do bring back memories - my highway compensatory strategy was to turn on the highbeams for a sec, from the red high beam indicator light on the speedometer you could see the needle, barely. Hello fellow AMCthusiasts, Recently I discovered the reason I used to get so many moving violations when I was driving the white Javelin at night, the dash lights have all gone south !!! Those dang little pesky bulbs that fit into the brittle little sockets then plug into the instrument cluster circuit board are burned out. night time speeding violations, I can see it now, another arm long list of tickets just like when I was a kid driving the car........... I sure wish I knew of a source for replacement bulbs, I think I may have enough sockets to last several years, but those pesky bulbs are difficult to find. I tried our local auto parts stores, and of course they didn't have anything even to substitute, I would guess wattage is important too? Any one know of a source or maybe a substitute? I would guess many AMCs used the same bulb and socket...... Thanks, Armand -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
