Re: [AMC-list] American wagons...

I think it would angle fit. I doubt it will lay flat.
I'm thinking, maybe it will lay flat if the plastic panels are gone.
One last think. I think my sub box is about 42"s wide and there is a 3-4" gap between it and the inner wheel well on each side.
Matt should be able to hit you with an accurate measurement from a American wagon.

Glad to hear your financial status is improving according to plan! Mine is too. I stopped buying $#!t until I make some progress on what I got! My 4x8 ute trailer is full from the shed and there is another load in the yard. I found out I had FOUR transmissions in there in one form or another.

Here's a basic question for you all: will a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood (etc) fit
in the back of an American wagon? I assume it would have to be 65 up. I
don't care how well it fits, tailgate and seats down.

I need to replace my ailing wagon, likely this winter, and for once, I'll
actually have a budget to buy something nice. I'll be looking for someone's
done project car. Six cyl, preferably manual trans, preferably
power-nothing. Driveline and chassis has to be immaculate rebuilt. Willing
to pay for that. Rebuilt 232 and T-96-OD, or 4.0 transplant I care less
about than top-notch mechanical (though the newer stuff would not hurt!)
