Does the manifold exhaust at the rear? 6cyls in a basic log of tubing? If so, no it will not work with the existing 98 exh. If it is 3 cyl into 2 pipes into one and has a curve look to it and exh outlet about center, slightly to the rear then it should be correct for a 98. I have a 1990 4.0 exhaust I am selling and someone asked IF it would fit a 98 TJ? I would think it does but not an expert. Also, I can now take off the signature below of AMO Nationals as they are done! What a weekend!
