My other idea is I could send you the two plastic pieces I have for $10 in a flat rate mail box and you can figure out is you want to clean them, repaint the backside etc,

I know there are repro hood emblems on the market now but my pockets are not deep enough to afford one.  I'm wondering if anyone on the list has had any luck with plastic casting or metal etching, or if someone knows a friend who can perhaps set up a CNC machine to make a stylized "R" emblem.   The blank pad on the hood of my Rambler sure looks bare.   Course there's always Tom J.s little piston mascot......
 
Just looking for ideas.
