No gasket. None in the AMC parts catalog, none in the TSM, none on the car :-) My suggestion is to apply a flat, smooth thin bead of RED (hi temp) silicone, 1/16" thick, with your finger onto the manifold face, let it cure overnight, then assemble. Works great. If you have leaks it's cuz the manifold has warped in the decades since cast. The easiest cure for that is to take it to an auto machine shop and have them run it on their head sander. Luckily it's a fairly easy exhaust manifold to get in and out of the car.
