That's a great reminder. Thanks. I wandered out and checked the carb a little more closely. One of the screws over the fuel reservoir where the float is was a little lose. I popped the top off while the carb was still mounted on the intake plate. The reservoir looked pretty good, but there was a little bit of dirt in there. Not sure where it came from - but it must have been from when I ran the tank very low. I cleaned it out a bit - but should take it off the intake plate and thoroughly clean it. I can pump the gas and the car starts fine, but stalls. I fiddled with all the adjusting screws, so probably just need to get them back close to where they were. The car runs when I have my foot on the peddle slightly, so it must just be an adjustment out a bit. After pumping it, starting it, idling it with my foot on the peddle, and then giving it a little gas to get the revs up - there was no fuel on the intake plate. So - I'm calling the gas leak fixed, and calling it user error. Tonight after dinner I hope to get it adjusted back to where it runs and idles without me keeping my foot on the peddle or fiddling with the throttle. _______________________________________________ AMC-list mailing list AMC-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx http://list.amc-list.com/listinfo.cgi/amc-list-amc-list.com
